A graduate of the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Daniel “Dan” Kendall completed postgraduate training in anesthesiology and interventional pain medicine at Northwestern University and Johns Hopkins Hospital, respectively. Since 2004, he has managed patient pain as a clinical practitioner with National Spine and Pain Centers. Dr. Dan Kendall concurrently educates his fellow medical professionals as a spinal cord stimulation instructor with both Boston Scientific and St. Jude Neuromodulation. He holds active membership in the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Osteopathic Medical Association, and the International Spine Injection Society.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Dan Kendall has delivered multiple influential public lectures and seminars including a 2006 pain management presentation through the Central New York Academy of Medicine. He has also taught clinical anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

A staff physician with National Spine and Pain Centers in Arlington, Virginia, Dr. Daniel “Dan” Kendall, has received honors as a “Top Doctor” in Washingtonian Magazine from 2015 to 2016 and in Northern Virginia Magazine from 2016 to 2017. He is widely recognized as one of the most proficient medical providers in the greater Washington, DC area when it comes to employing sophisticated non-surgical pain treatment modalities. Dr. Daniel Kendall holds board certification in both anesthesiology and pain management.

Before joining the team at National Spine and Pain Centers in 2004, Dr. Dan Kendall served tenures as clinical anesthesiology instructor and chief pain management fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. During his yearlong fellowship at Johns Hopkins, he completed comprehensive training in fields that included spinal cord stimulation, sympathetic blocks, radiofrequency ablation, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and cervical injections. Dr. Kendall also gained experience working with state-of-the-art devices that ranged from intrathecal pumps to the Stryker Dekompressor.
